Electivity was founded and run by two minority women. Electivity was inspired by the moms' for quality enrichment programs. Encouraged by fellow parents’ call for access to high quality and affordable enrichment activities, Electivity launched a free service to schools, customizing enrichment programs offered on school premises and matching expert providers to schools.
Electivity offers hundreds of programs including but not limited to the arts, sports, STEM and language skills, and are also sponsors of AMC 8 (Mathematical Association of America), an event sponsored annually by the Marin Math Circle, a program run by Electivity.
Well-loved by parents and children, Electivity's in-person and digital classes, are tried and tested by Bay Area schools and homeschool pods, establishing itself as a leader in the field of enrichment program management.
HOW OUR PROGRAM WORKS
Electivity adopts an ecosystem model where providers and their programs are matched to schools based on the needs of the schools and children. Providers collaborate closely with schools to provide the best and most affordable programs for children to explore their interests. Electivity takes care of the operations and logistical effort of facilitating the programs, freeing resources of both providers and schools.
