Building Stacked Houses

Join us as we explore the stacked houses of Cinque Terre, Italy where five fishing villages are connected through mountain trails, interconnected apartment  buildings known as the “Monster Building” in Quarry Bay, Hong Kong and the “City in the Sky” – a Tibetan city that’s home to 40,000 monks and nuns.  We'll also take a look at favelas in Rio de Janeiro, amazing fantastical floating stacked houses from Howl's Moving Castle, illustrations by Eren Dedeleroğlu and Ian McQue and stacked house clay sculpture by New Zealand ceramicist Carol Robinson.

Materials: Paper, Tape (clear and masking works well ) and Scissors.

Markers are nice to have for embellishment.

Materiales: papel, cinta adhesiva (transparente y enmascarador funciona bien) y tijeras.

Es bueno tener marcadores para adornar.
